Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc took over the Grand Mardi Gras Parade 10 years ago. With combined efforts of Danny Zimmern and Amy Newman, along with 9 other members of the team, we have created an event many people look forward to all year long. Our support of our Krews means the world to us and without them we could not have the fun we have each year. Without our Sponsor's support we wouldn't be able to put this on.
What Makes Pensacola Mardi Gras Celebration Different From Other Cities?
Pensacola’s Mardi Gras Celebration rivals other early parades such as Mobile, Biloxi and New Orleans. Unlike other parades, Pensacola is known for a more family welcoming environment. Though Pensacola’s parade is family friendly, it also offers entertainment for adults as well, separating the two makes our parade unique and fun for everyone to attend. We always ensure all age groups are having as much fun as possible. With these morals, and new ideas we are expanding each season to have the best Mardi Gras celebration possible.
